Protein Purification and Biophysical Characterisation 2025

June 30 @ 10:30 am - July 1 @ 4:00 pm

Protein purification and biophysical characterisation are essential techniques in both academic and industrial biochemistry. This hands-on training course at the University of Bedfordshire’s STEM Building will introduce participants to modern equipment such as the Constant Systems CF1 cell disrupter, AKTA systems with Unicorn software, the NanoTemper Monolith, and the latest Beckman Coulter Optima AUC. Short lectures will provide theoretical context for each method.

Attendees are encouraged to bring posters to share their work, raise troubleshooting questions, or explore how the training might support their research. No abstract is required, and poster boards with Velcro will be available.
