The CRISPR-Whisper science communication project aims to enhance public understanding of the globally recognized CRISPR-Cas ‘gene scissors’ technology. This initiative is specifically designed for anyone interested in delving deeper into fundamental scientific research and the intricate workings of CRISPR-Cas.
As a project within the priority programme ‘Much more than defence: the multiple functions and facets of CRISPR-Cas,’ the CRISPR Whisper Roadshow is organized by the DFG SPP 2141 and BioWissKomm (with Dr. Wolfgang Nellen as contact). The upcoming CRISPR Whisper Week in Munich is made possible through the support of several key partners: the German Life Sciences Association (VBIO), the Museum Mensch und Natur (SNSB), the DFG Transregio TRR356 PlantMicrobe, and Synthego – CRISPR Solutions.
