The “From the Laboratory to the Clinic” conference, an annual translational research event established in 1984, is set to take place at Trinity College, Oxford. This conference convenes an international assembly of basic scientists, clinicians, and industry researchers, all focused on exploring the application of the latest discoveries in immunology and molecular medicine to enhance clinical practice.
This year’s conference will primarily feature vaccines, alongside other therapy-related topics such as Gene Therapy and Regulatory T-Cells. The meeting will be offered in a hybrid format, allowing for both in-person attendance and live online streaming. The conference schedule begins with lunch at 13:00 on Tuesday, September 2nd, and concludes with lunch on Friday, September 5th. A highlight of the event will be the main conference dinner on Wednesday, September 3rd, held at the prestigious Museum of Natural History, Oxford. The conference is meticulously organized by an international committee, under the leadership of past and present Directors of the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology: Professors Sir Marc Feldmann, Sir Ravinder Maini, and Dame Fiona Powrie.
