“Psyche, Human, Brain – Psychiatry at the Center” forms the central theme of the 2025 edition. The program promises insightful keynote speeches and state-of-the-art presentations delivered by nationally and internationally renowned experts in the field. Complementing these presentations will be a rich array of contributions, including interactive workshops, focused symposia, and informative poster sessions, offering diverse avenues for learning and engagement.
The distinguished lineup of keynote speakers for the 2025 edition includes Claudio Bassetti from Bern, Indrit Bègue representing Geneva, Kristina Adorjan also from Bern, Raphael Gaillard traveling from Paris, Thomas Fuchs based in Heidelberg, and other leading voices in psychiatry. Their expertise will provide valuable perspectives and the latest advancements in the understanding of the psyche, the human experience, and the brain.
A notable addition to this year’s event is the “SGPP Academy” course format. This newly introduced feature will provide attendees with direct, first-hand experience on cutting-edge topics within psychiatry. The comprehensive course program will be unveiled starting in April. Significantly, these compact, two-day courses have been seamlessly integrated into the main conference schedule, meaning no separate registration is required for participation. The organizers eagerly anticipate a stimulating exchange of ideas and look forward to welcoming the community once again in Basel.
