Are you an early career researcher in developmental or stem cell biology? Don’t miss the 17th Young Embryologist Network (YEN) Conference—an annual, student- and postdoc-led event that offers PhD students and early career scientists a free platform to present their research, build connections, and engage with the broader developmental biology community.
YEN 2025 features an exciting speaker line-up, including Nicolas Rivron (IMBA, ÖAW), who will deliver the Sammy Lee Memorial Lecture on blastocysts and embryo models. Other invited talks include Peter Rugg-Gunn (Babraham Institute) on epigenetics in human development and Maud Borensztein (IGMM-Montpellier) on X chromosome reactivation. The “Scientific Perspectives” session will explore technological frontiers in embryology, with insights from Rob Tetley (Nikon Instruments) and Simon Hanassab (Imperial College London) on AI in IVF.
