Position Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on and strategic Client Manager to join our team. This role is crucial for driving the growth of our client base and expanding our market presence. The ideal candidate will excel in relationship building and be focussed on new business and account development. Your main aim will be to arrange Client Meetings that will enable new pitches for our two core offerings to be presented to win new business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Acquisition and Development:
- Identify and engage with potential clients in the life sciences sector.
- Passionate about speaking on the phone to different people to understand their business needs and able to problem-solve and provide the most suitable resource offering we have
- Develop and execute strategic plans to acquire new clients and grow existing accounts.
- Present Hlx Life Sciences’ Consulting services to potential clients, highlighting our value proposition.
2. Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Enjoys networking and attending events to build relationships with clients.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
3. Technology Utilization:
- Utilize CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to manage client relationships and track business development activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information within the CRM system.
4. Target Achievement:
- Aim to achieve ambitious sales targets in line with company objectives.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create and execute effective campaigns.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, preferably within the life sciences or recruitment sectors.
- Relationship Building: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Sales Acumen: Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
- Technology Proficiency: Experience using CRM systems for client management and sales tracking.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
